Youth athletics from the Centre of the World.

About our direction

• Who we are

A new community club, being established in 2026, with four programmes by age: an athletics playgroup (ages 5–6), an athletics school (7–10), development athletics (11–14) and young athletes (15–18).

• What we are building

A club where children from a small town get the same quality of coaching, knowledge and opportunity as children in much larger places — and where knowledge gained abroad stays in Ludbreg.

• Our youth-development philosophy

Age-appropriate development, all-round athletics before specialisation, small groups, long-term progress over early medals, safe sport, and coaches who keep learning.

• What we can offer a partner

An enthusiastic new club, a welcoming town, and a genuine commitment to child-centred coaching. We are keen to host visiting coaches and young athletes.

• What we would like to learn

How experienced clubs run grassroots youth athletics, coach education and development pathways, and how they involve schools and families.

• Cooperation interests

Erasmus+ Sport cooperation, coach exchanges and job shadowing, youth exchanges and events, and small development pilots.
